While recently visiting the famous Madonna Inn with Sabrina Jones, I walked around the corner of the ballroom to find this sight. I stood dumbstruck, uncharacteristically speechless, and immediately pulled up my camera to snap a few quick shots before the moment passed. This sad elf sitting at the bar looked like a photo I might stage for one of my sarcastic Christmas cards, but discovering it in real life made it so much better.
